Q: Do I report the claim to my agent if I've reported it online?

A: No, you do not need to report the claim to your agent. Your insurance agency and the Brotherhood Mutual Claims Department will all receive a copy of the claims report by Email.

Q: What happens after I report a claim online?

A: You will receive an Email confirmation of the claims report that explains the next steps. The claim will be assigned to an adjuster who will follow up with the contact person you provided. The contact person, your insurance agency, and the Brotherhood Mutual claims department will all receive a copy of the claims report by Email.

Q: What if I don't have all of the information shown in the online claims report?

A: We understand you may be in a difficult situation after a claims incident. We collect only the information needed to begin the claims process. If you don't have all of the details, you can still report your claim by contacting your agent or the Brotherhood Mutual claims department.

Q: Why can't I report a Workers' Compensation claim online?

A: Workers' Compensation claims are often complex and are best handled by reporting them directly to your agent's office or our claims department. We take this step to make sure we provide you the best claims service and comply with workers' compensation laws.

Q: Why can't I report all Mission Travel claims online?

A: The claims process varies by product, type of claim situation, and whether you are out of the country at the time the claim is reported.  Select the "Missions  Travel" option under "Report a Claim" and we'll help you get started.
